Ben Holtaway

Monday 15th January 2018 - Congrats to Ben over the water in Hayle, Cornwall who has won £1000 today in the Scilly Lottery draw!

Ben is very chuffed with his win this week, and has sent us a fab montage of pictures of happy days of gig rowing revelry aboard the Azook.

I can’t tell you how delighted I was to receive this news! A much welcome boost to the New Years otherwise negative bank balance! We’ll be spending the windfall on a trip to Scilly later this year. My wife is helping run a student field trip on St Mary’s during May and it’s my youngest daughters birthday during the same week. The lottery win means I can bring my 3 girls out on the boat and have a couple of nights camping altogether so Mum won’t miss her 3rd birthday.

I’ve found a few old photos of fond gig weekends spent on Scilly, you can take your pick!

Thank you once again. I have been telling my friends they ought to play the Scilly lottery, perhaps now they will ;-)

All the best

Peter Green

Monday 25th December 2017 -  An extra Christmas present today for Peter right here on St Mary's.  Many congratulations to you!

And a very Merry Christmas to all of you who play the Scilly Lottery, providing vital support to help keep the station on air - we couldn't do it without you.  For those still waiting for their win, keep those fingers crossed and 2018 might be the year for you!!

Kay Stone

Monday 30th October 2017 - Many congratulations to Kay from Bromsgrove who is £1000 the richer today, as the winner of the Scilly Lottery today!

Kay was over the moon with her win, and has shared a great pic and a very Scilly memory with us all.  Happy days.

Thank you so much again - I really can’t believe it!

Unfortunately I only get to hear your radio station when we are on holiday in Scilly but you are so important to the Islands that it is a pleasure to support you through the Lottery - keep up the good work.

Yes, I shall put my winnings towards our next two trips to Scilly in May and again in August next year. I am already counting the days to May!

I have attached a favourite photo of mine - in fact it is now the wallpaper on my phone. We were so lucky this May to be able to go to the Low Tide event which was so amazing. I felt I was on the bottom of the ocean in the “Octopus’s Garden in the Sea” and these fantastic guys were selling Tresco Prosecco and, of course, we had to buy the bottle. The bottle was soon emptied and is now back in our home to remind us of a most amazing day.
