Scilly's Age UK dial-a-ride scheme has been described as a "life-changing" service. Aisling Khan, the Council’s Senior Manager for Services to our Community, said in yesterday's Health & Wellbeing Board meeting that the Buzza Bus is a "lifeline" to people with mobility issues on the islands. 

The Isles of Scilly’s annual Dog Show is back this weekend. The event takes place between 2.30pm and 4pm on the surgery field in Old Town on Saturday.

An 8-year-old boy from St Agnes is to run 10k in aid of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust to help keep his island clean. Joss Windridge-Hicks decided to raise money for the charity after one of his family’s cows died from eating plastic that had washed in on the beach.
