Devon and Cornwall Police have apologised to the mother of Josh Clayton for their handling of the investigation into his death.

The Chair of the Island Haven project has said he is “humbled” by the number of people who have volunteered to help raise money. The project’s fundraising drive was launched earlier this month and a Facebook group to exchange ideas has more than 100 members. 

Work has completed on the long-awaited covered walkway for Scillonian passengers on Penzance Quay. The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group contracted ARC Structures to design, manufacture and install a 50 metre covered fabric walkway to help improve the passenger experience for people travelling on the ferry.
