Police on the Isles of Scilly have advised islanders against leaving their keys in parked cars after a third vehicle was taken without consent in as many months. 

A vehicle was taken from outside Park House between 12.50am and 1.05am on Wednesday, May 8th. It was then driven to Pungies Lane, where it was abandoned.

Members will vote on a Chair and Vice-Chair of the islands' Council at tomorrow’s meeting. 

Last year Cllr Robert Francis was elected Chairman, defeating previous incumbent Ted Moulson. Cllr Fran Grottick has served as Vice-Chairman for the last two years. 

The recent cultural symposium organised by the Islands' Partnership has been described as "really inspiring and productive". 

The IP's Creative Islands team hosted more than 30 delegates and speakers from arts organisations, academic institutions and visiting artists at the three-day event from May 8th - 10th.
