The Isles of Scilly Pharmacy has warned that the islands have been 'hit hard' by an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting.

Staff have issued advice on how to stay hydrated, saying that the elderly and very young are the most at risk. 

Dogs are no longer allowed on Scilly’s restricted beaches from midnight tonight.

Restrictions on Porthcressa, Porthmellon and Old Town run from May 1st until September 30th. Dogs are still allowed on Little Porth next to Porthcressa.

Replacement fencing has been erected at the old secondary school site on St Mary's. Green boarding was originally installed in 2017 but its condition deteriorated in recent months.
