Live Literature Tour Comes To Scilly

Nature writers Miriam Darlington and Tim Dee have been over in the Isles of Scilly with Word on Tour, a celebration of writing and literature.

The live literature tour has seen some of the South West's finest novelists, nature writers, poets, playwrights, performers, children's authors and a musician give talks, perform and answer questions from the public in libraries up and down the South West. 

Miriam a poet, author and Lecturer at University of Plymouth and Tim, who as well as being an author is a producer of poetry programmes and dramas for BBC radio were on hand to talk to a packed crowd at the library on St Mary's on Wednesday evening.

You might know Miriam as she use to teach English at the Five Islands School on St Mary's - she was in fact one of Will's teachers! 

Prior to the event Miriam popped into the Radio Scilly studio to have a chat with Will about her work and Word on Tour.
