The Cornish Pirates picked up their 6th straight win in the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday afternoon when they beat 3rd place Bedford Blues by 5 points away from home, 29 - 34, in what was an enthralling game of Rugby.

This was the Pirates, who currently sit in 4th place, penultimate game of the season. Their final game will take place at the Mennaye Field in Penzance a week Saturday, 28 April against 2nd place Ealing Trailfinders, in what is shaping up to be an incredible end to the season.

Today is also a very significant day for the Cornish Pirates, as well as all involved in the Stadium for Cornwall initiative. Cornwall Council will vote today on whether to give £3million towards the initiative.

Will was joined on the phone by Nick George to find out more about the Pirates win on the weekend and today's vote on the Stadium for Cornwall. We'll have full details on the vote for you tomorrow morning.
