The Bryher Fete & Music Festival is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the year on Scilly.

The event is due to get underway around midday this Sunday, 6th August with live music through the day until 7pm with all the usual bits and pieces you would see at Scillonian Fete (see posters for full details).

Looking at the posters though you would think this was a mini Glastonbury! Kathy Stedeford who is one of the event organisers spoke to Will on Friday's Morning Show and said on the comparison with the iconic event which is having a year off next year "We might be having a pyramid stage before much longer."

Boat services will be making regular trips to Bryher from all the islands including later ones in the evening around 7:30pm. Exact details on the boat services are still to be confirmed so please double check all times.

The forecast for the weekend is looking pretty good with little chance of rain, so hopefully no mud baths and a great sunny day to be enjoyed by all.

Full details on the event can be seen on the posters below and you can find out more about this Sunday's Bryher Fete & Music Festival with Kathy Stedeford at the bottom of this page.
