After few years off the Garrison Sports & Music Festival is set to return this Sunday on Scilly and is looking like it's going to be even bigger and better than before.
The event which takes place this Sunday, August 27th on the Garrison Field, St Mary's will be a celebration of sport and music on the islands while raising money for some really worth while causes.
Children's activities will start from around 11am with the main festival starting around 12:30pm and finishing at 11pm.
Sporting highlights include the annual 5-a-side Football tournament, Rugby 7s and the first ever Garrison Open, a 1-day round robin tennis tournament for adults and children.
As far as entertainment goes there will be over 10 hours live music on Sunday with the likes of Road Runner, The Pie Trio, Touching Cloth, Southern Comfort and The Steamband all performing.
A traditional Scillonian BBQ and Bar will provide the refreshments for the event and local arts, crafts, and other Scillonian delights will be available to purchase and indulge in during the event.
