The Scilly Laughs Comedy Festival gets underway tomorrow evening on St Mary's.
Now in it's 3rd year Scilly Laughs returns with an incredible line up comprised of Hannah Brackenbury, Richard Vranch, Craig Deeley as well as co-founder and organiser Julie Jepson.
The shows will deliver over 2 and half hours of comedy whilst raising funds for Cornwall Air Ambulance, the chosen charity for the festival.
The festival which started in 2015 expanded last year with a gig taking place on St Agnes making it the most South Westerly comedy gig in the UK!
The festival was the brainchild of Julie Jepson and Jo Jepson-Davies. Julie, a regular visitor to islands wanted to expand the entertainment opportunities on Scilly and the original plan was a gig on every island, however it was considered slightly too ambitious…"where to play on Samson?"! So a more modest four date festival was planned with a date in Penzance the night before (tonight).
Scilly Laughs Comedy Festival 2017 dates:
- Saturday 10th June St Mary's
- Sunday 11th June Tresco
- Mon 12th June St Martin's
- Tues 13th June St Agnes
