Will was joined on The Morning Show by Elaine Leijser from Age UK Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.
Elaine popped in to talk about her position as the living well co-coordinator with Age UK Cornwall and Isles of Scilly and to talk about some of the events they have coming up to support people in Scilly.
Popular events include, Telling Tales and their weekly Knit and Natter group which takes place every Friday and Manse on St Mary's from 10am and 11:30am.
Telling Tales takes place every other Thursday at the library on St Mary's between 2pm and 3pm and the next gathering takes place this Thursday (30th March).
Elaine and the team on St Mary's have just launched their new Facebook page which can be found here and keep you up to date with some of the events and gatherings that are taking place in the near future.
Elaine is looking for volunteers to help with visiting people who have limited movement outside of their own home and would love to hear from you.
