RAF Red Arrows Display on Scilly rounds off an incredible Islands' Regatta

The first Islands’ Regatta came to a conclusion yesterday after a spectacular display by the RAF Red Arrows.

It was a weekend of firsts for Scilly and they exceeded all expectations. The event which has been year in making, came to an end on Monday.

The highlight of the weekend was the performance by the RAF Red Arrows at 3pm. The Red Arrows arrived in formation after making the crossing from Cornwall Newquay Airport in 9 minutes and graced the skies of Scilly for a 25-minute aerobatic display which saw them fly over and around all the inhabited Islands.

Will was joined by Zoe Parry Events Manager for the Islands’ Partnership to round up the Bank Holiday Weekend’s proceedings and to talk about the future of the events programme on Scilly.
