ÖtillÖ Swimrun World Series To Return To Scilly in 2017

The ÖtillÖ Swimrun World Series is set to return to Scilly In June 2017 and next year’s event is already shaping up to be bigger and better than last year’s event.

Next year’s event will take place over 2 days with the edition of the ÖtillÖ Swimrun Sprint Race as well as the World Series Race. The Sprint Races are entry level races over shorter distances with no time limits.


Will was joined in the studio by Mats Skott and Michael Lemmel the Producers and Directors of ÖtillÖ to find out more about next year’s event. Mats said “We’re so happy to back” and Michael added “You have this picture of the Isles and when you come across on the water and it’s low tide, it really is an Iconic place.”

Mats and Michael describe ÖtillÖ as "Unique races in unique places." In 2012 ÖtillÖ was ranked as one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world by CNN.com.

The event is scheduled to take place over the weekend of the 17th and 18th of June 2017 with registration and the mandatory race briefing taking place on the 16th June 2017.
