Aer Lingus & Cornwall Airport Newquay Announce New Service To North America Via Dublin

Aer Lingus have announced that from March 2017 passengers will be able to fly from Cornwall Airport Newquay to America and Canada via Dublin.

Fares will start from £229 each way and include a checked-through baggage, meals, in-flight entertainment and more. 

The destinations which have been announced include New York, Boston, Hartford and Chicago, with Toronto on sale from January.

To ad to the convenience of the service you can also complete U.S. Immigration pre-clearance in Dublin before you board your connecting flight to North America.

Commenting on the latest airline announcement, Al Titterington, Managing Director at Cornwall Airport Newquay said “Expanding our route network through cost effective, indirect routes further enhances the destination options available to those wishing to fly from Cornwall and the added bonus of the Immigration pre-clearance in Dublin will be of real benefit to passengers using this route to access North America. The routes also increase the number of overseas markets that can reach Cornwall with ease, helping to further support the tourism sector and economy of Cornwall.”

The new transatlantic connections from Cornwall Airport Newquay via Dublin have been made possible by a further increase in the frequency of the Newquay to Dublin Aer Lingus service for 2017 which is operated by Stobart Air.

Cornwall Airport Newquay offer flights to and from London Gatwick, Manchester and Leeds Bradford with Flybe; and Dublin with Aer Lingus. As well as offering direct connectivity to these key cities, the routes offer passengers the opportunity to make connections to and from destinations across the UK, Europe and worldwide and of course to the Isles of Scilly with Skybus. Further additional regional and international routes operate in the summer season.
