Harbourmaster Dale Clark joined Will in the studio for this week’s Harbour Report on Thursday.
Even though it’s quiet time of year with the number of vessels in harbour it’s a busy time of year for Dale and the team on the quay. They’re still busy in the office and with maintenance.
The divers are continuing their work on the local inner moorings chain replacements and inspections, which will continue over the winter months. Work on the leading lights has been completed and are now operational.
They've had the Seven Sins and Seven Seas in the harbour this week and thy've been making regular trips to Scilly to help with removing the rubble from the old School and the regular trips as part of Moorland waste removal project.
The Gry Maritha is making regular trips to Scilly and is busy keeping the islands stocked especially with the festive season underway. The Lyonesse lady is currently out of action and having scheduled maintenance with the Swift Lady taking over her duties to her capacity. The Pegasus which has had issues with her engine is also expected to be back in the water next week.
