The Cornwall Rural Community Charity will be on Scilly next week to offer energy advice and IT support to the residents of the islands as part of the Big Energy Saving Week.
The Cornish charity informs and guides local groups and individuals to achieve their aspirations and develop sustainable, inclusive communities.
The team will be on the islands from Wednesday 2nd November until Friday 4th November and over the course of the 3 days will be on hand to offer advice and support on energy savings, IT support and more.

Other avenues of support include saving money when it comes to energy as well as IT support at their Get Confident Online/Energy Drop-ins at the library on St Mary's.
The IT aspect of the sessions will include the basics in staying safe online, setting up email and social media accounts and gaining confidence using the internet.
From Wednesday the to Friday the team will be conducting home visits offering advice for people who can’t make the drop-in sessions and they will also be making it to some of the off islands for residents who can’t make it over to St Mary’s.
A general information and advice will take place on Thursday 3rd November between 10am and 5pm.
