Our annual campaigns are affordable. As we are a not for profit organisation, we do things differently to mainland radio stations. Radio Scilly only arranges annual campaigns because we want to work closely with an advertiser and build a relationship with our clients. We don't just take the money for a month and that's it, we want to talk with our supporters and assess the success of our campaign and develop new ideas and promotions.

Radio Scilly's promotional package is split between on-air, on-line and newsletter activity so we can create significant awareness of your products and services to island residents, Scilly's 104,000 annual visitors and our mainland online listeners.

Radio Scilly has limited advertising availability. Unlike commercial radio stations, we're a not-for-profit organisation and we have strict controls on the amount of ads we run. That is good news for our listeners and great news for our advertisers! Your ad won't be lost in a sea of other commercials. With Radio Scilly, your message will stand out. We can arrange a series of pre-recorded, professionally voiced commercials to promote your product or service. If you want to hear how well our advertising campaigns work, talk to the Tarbert Hotel or Keith at Tucker Car Hire in Penzance. If you want a recommendation from an IOS advertiser, talk to Carol at the Airfayre Lounge, Mark Twynham at The Bishop and Wolf or Terry Ward at The Foredeck.
Radio Scilly can also air urgent, time critical sale and special offer announcements. All clients have the chance to get urgent promotions transmitted. These have worked very well recently for Dibble and Grub and The Foredeck.
We sell advertising packages on a year-long contract basis. We have decided to do this so we have time to build up a working relationship with advertisers. Think of it in the same way as the islands tourism brochure. You may not be open all year around but the space is there for you to use, if you wish for a generic message. Or simply just use your airtime when you are open.. We don't just take the money for a month and that's it, we want to talk with our supporters and assess the success of our campaign and develop new ideas and promotions.
Radio Scilly Premium Founder Supporter Package:
Your investment: £19 a week, 52 weeks a year
On Air:
As a Premium Founder Supporter, your business will receive at least 5 x 30-second produced commercials between 0700 and 2200 each day. You may change the copy up to 4 times a year. We can devise and produce bespoke sponsorship promotions for Premium Supporters, too.
As a Premium Founder, you may also join the Radio Scilly Members Loyalty Card Scheme. By offering a 10% discount to cardholders. You will also receive website and newsletter exposure to highlight your offer to cardholders
In Our Newsletter:
You will be promoted as a Premium Founder Sponsor in each issue when we list the companies that our listeners should support for their support of us and youl also be entitled to four complimentary full page ads of your own promotional information each year.
As a Premium Founder we can also offer you an email responder service from the Radio Scilly website for listeners who want more information on your business. Your commercial message could ask listeners to email a special email address to receive an emailed factsheet, pricelist or menu instantly.
