The RNAS Culdrose rescue helicopter was called out last night at around 7.00pm to help bring a man ashore from a British registered vehicle transporter. He was airlifted from the vessel, 32 miles south-south east of the islands. The 67 year old Filipino national was taken to Treliske hospital with a suspected stroke.
